AiDEX™ Sensors only have a one hour warm-up period and are factory calibrated. Optional calibration is possible, but please consult the calibration guideline on when and how to calibrate your sensor. The all-in-one sensor and applicator allows for quick and easy insertion into the abdomen or back of the upper arm. Consult the insertion guideline for the correct insertion technique.

*Perform a fingerstick blood glucose test if CGM reading does not match symptoms, when symptoms of hypo- or hyperglycemia are present or when treatment decisions need to be made.

AiDEX™ Transmitter

  • Re-usable with a 4-year warranty
  • Transmitter records and transfers reading via Bluetooth to the AiDEX™ mobile App and compatible devices
  • Once the transmitter is attached to a new sensor, it is powered by the sensor’s internal battery for 14 days

NOTE: 

Detach the transmitter from the sensor each time you remove an expired sensor and attach it onto a new inserted sensor.

Do NOT throw the transmitter away! (Refer to Insertion Guideline)

For all new customers – Please purchase a new transmitter with your sensors. The transmitter has a 4-year lifespan and warranty.

The AiDEX™ CGMS is waterproof up to 1 metre for 30 minutes.

Users can personalise their low- and high alert glucose ranges.  Alerts can be switched on or off and users can choose how they receive their alerts.

The AiDEX™ App offers the following alerts:

  • Hi / Lo
  • Rising / Falling Fast
  • Urgent Low (preset to 3 mmol/L)
  • Transmitter Signal Loss

Patients can grant access to caregivers to follow their readings and alerts (consult the Share/Follow guideline).

The AiDEX™ App offers users the option to record additional information related to meals, medication, exercise and sick days.  Fingerstick blood glucose readings can also be recorded on the App and optional calibration of the sensor can be performed.
